Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana: Part One collected an estimated Rs 48.05 crore net in India on Day 2 (Friday, 6 November), taking its two-day India net total to Rs 112.90 crore and crossing the Rs 100 crore India-net mark, according to trade tracker Sacnilk.
India gross after two days stood at about Rs 134.80 crore. Overseas added about Rs 35 crore on Day 2 for a tracked overseas total of Rs 86.25 crore, pushing worldwide gross to about Rs 221.05 crore on Sacnilk’s tally.
Hindi led Day 2 with Rs 35.50 crore from 19,859 shows. Kannada added Rs 5.15 crore, Telugu Rs 4.75 crore, Tamil Rs 1.50 crore and Malayalam Rs 1.15 crore across 23,316 shows. Day 2 was about 25.9% below the film’s Rs 64.85 crore Day 1 India net. Sacnilk estimated about 18.56 lakh tickets sold on Friday.
Trade desks had floated Rs 100 crore-plus India openings before release; Day 1 fell short of that headline number but still set a Sacnilk career-best Kapoor opening. Crossing Rs 100 crore India net by Day 2 keeps the Diwali weekend math alive even after Friday’s drop, with advance interest for Saturday already visible on Sacnilk’s booking tracker.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, the film stars Kapoor as Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana. It released worldwide on 5 November ahead of Diwali. Weekend (Day 3–4) figures will show whether holiday footfalls lift the daily run; Saturday advance booking was already building as of early 7 November, Sacnilk noted.
