The most awaited film of the year, Shah Rukh Khan and Aanand L Rai’s VFX spectacle – Zero is finally here. It’s a star studded high budget Bollywood extravaganza featuring actors like Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif and even a cameo by Salman Khan.
However, that’s not enough to make audience love a movie anymore. 2018 stands as testament to that. *coughs* remember what happened to Thugs of Hindostan and Race 3? *coughs*
Although the film has got a massive start at the box office, but it’s probably going to slow down because of the bad word of mouth. Most of the critics are bashing the film’s second half. Some are even stretching to say Jab Harry Met Sejal was a better film. *gasps* THE HORROR.
Just like Thugs of Hindostan, even Zero has inspired a massive wave of savage reviews and memes on Twitter and other social media platforms. Here are some of those you might want to read before booking the tickets.
Rating: ⭐️ ½
Expected so much from this collaboration [SRK and director Aanand L Rai]… Sadly, the flawed writing – especially the second hour – takes the film downhill… EPIC DISAPPOINTMENT… #ZeroReview pic.twitter.com/Hzo1oepata

#Zero has an entertaining first half with superb dialogues and an awesome performance by SRK.Advertisement
However the second half is a bloody bore that tests your patience. JHMS level unbearable 2nd half with not one good scene.

#ZeroReview#Zero is another star studded let down ths year
Weak story, lacklustre screenplay and sloppy direction turned it into a dud
1st Half GOOD
2nd HALF TERRIBLE#SRK alone cannot carry it to the zenith of being a blockbuster
BAD PHASE of #ShahRukhKhan career CONTINUES

“If given a chance between Jab Harry Met Sejal and Zero, I would probably go for the former. Yes, it’s that uninspiring.”

I was actually looking forward to a Shah Rukh Khan’s film after such a long time and it’s really heartbreaking to see all the bad reviews. All the big guns have failed to please the audience this year, while Rajkummar Rao and Ayushmann Khurrana are continuing t spread their magic.
