Abhishek Mishra, a man associated with Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and followed by ministers of union cabinet, started a communal debate on Twitter on Sunday.
Abhishek, who claims to be “hinduvta thinker”, shared a tweet saying that he cancelled an OLA cab ride just because the driver was Muslim. “Cancelled @Olacabs Booking because Driver was Muslim. I don’t want to give my money to Jihadi People.”
What a time to be alive. A verified account followed by ministers of union cabinet openly spreading communal hatred on social media. *slow claps*
Fortunately, all of Twitter got together to teach this guy a lesson.
A lot of people are also asking Ola Cabs and Twitter to suspend his account for spreading communal hatred.
He later tweeted that “If this views acceptable then why my views are not acceptable ?”
Official handle of Ola finally shut down Abhishek Mishra in their reply. “Ola, like our country, is a secular platform, and we don’t discriminate our driver partners or customers basis their caste, religion, gender or creed. We urge all our customers and driver partners to treat each other with respect at all times.”
