Crying is healthy and watching movies and able to vent through them always somehow makes us feel better emotionally in the longer run. While I have cried countless times in the theatre, here’s me listing out the 9 movies I just could not have managed to get through the theatre without a blotchy face full of tears:
“It’s never a goodbye.” Last scene of Fast 7 hit everyone like a truck. There wasn’t a single dry eye in the hall. Best tribute of all time. Steel get goosebumps when I watch this scene. So well done, man.
The Fault In Our Stars
Had to buy expensive water bottle from PVR so I could keep myself hydrated while watching the film cuz itna rona aa raha tha, kya btau kitna rona aa raha tha.
So glad I booked tickets for a row in front that was completely empty because I sobbed like a literal baby.
This is one of the best superhero films of all time.
I don’t think we’ll ever get to have a cinematic experience quite like this, Everyone laughing, clapping, cheering, and crying together.
Couldn’t have asked for a better ending to Tony Stark’s character arc. We all cried 3000.
Another film I’m so glad I experienced on the big screen. So beautiful one could cry just looking at those frames. Coupled with masterpiece of a soundtrack & those emotional AF scenes.
This film was a cryfest.
Spiderman: Into The Spiderverse
That ‘What’s Up Danger is one of the best cinematic sequences I’ve ever experienced in a movie theater. A torrent of goosebumps and tears of pure happiness.
Weathering With You
First anime film to get a theatrical release in India last year & I’m So glad i got to experience it on the big w other fans. You’ll feel all kinds of emotions in the span of two hours.
3D glasses mei legit panni bhar gaya tha. Had to control my sobs because pure hall me sirf bacche the except me
Taare Zameen Par
Watched it as a kid & this movie hit on a different level of emotions. Can never not cry while watching it.
Another Bollywood that made me sob in theatre is 3 Idiots.
And if you are still not convinced, ek baar saare movies khud he dekhlo yaar.
