“Jurassic World: Dominion” is the epic conclusion we’ve been waiting for. As a long-time fan of the Jurassic World series, this movie left me thrilled and entertained. After three decades, they have finally delivered a sequel that does justice to the loyal fans of the original. But, you would only enjoy the movie if you perceive with your teenage mind.
Building upon the previous installment, “Fallen Kingdom,” the film “Dominion” tackles this theme of co-existence, weaving a captivating storyline around the overgrowing population of both man and beast. It’s thought-provoking and carries messages of trust, peace and teamwork that resonates with audiences.
Can humans and dinosaurs co-exist?
However, this isn’t your typical grand finale like “Return of the King” or “Deathly Hallows: Part 2.” Director and writer Colin Trevorrow pulls out all the stops, delivering jaw-dropping action sequences that had me on the edge of my seat. The cinematography is outstanding, capturing the awe-inspiring scale of these prehistoric creatures.
Speaking of characters, the return of Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum is an absolute delight. They bring back that nostalgic magic, injecting humor and reminding us why we fell in love with the franchise. Of course, the true stars of the show are the dinosaurs themselves. The CGI and animatronics are stunning, bringing these majestic creatures to life like never before.
“Dominion” may have a few flaws, like a crowded cast and occasional clunky dialogues. But let’s be honest, we’re here for the dinosaurs, and they steal the spotlight. The exhilarating music score by Michael Giacchino adds to the excitement, and the set pieces are visually impressive. What saddened me the most was that the archaeologist couple didn’t end up together. This was actually the primary reason I had been looking forward to watching it. In Jurassic Park III, it seemed clear that Ellie had married someone else, and it left a dissatisfying feeling for my younger self.
Whether you’re a die-hard fan or a newcomer to the Jurassic universe, “Jurassic World: Dominion” offers a wild ride filled with dino-sized fun. While it may not reach the iconic status of the original “Jurassic Park,” it still manages to captivate with its thrilling action and awe-inspiring visuals. So, unleash your inner paleontologist and get ready for an adventure.
“Jurassic World: Dominion” is a roaring finale that delivers on its promise of excitement and entertainment. It’s not the best finale they could’ve delivered but it’s also not the worst. They truly nailed it by capturing all the timeless elements that used to make our hearts race when we were kids watching the original film. The movie is filled with thrilling action sequences and stunning visual effects that are guaranteed to leave you in awe.
