Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan recently took it to twitter to share that he’s suffering from a “rare disease.” He asked the fans to not speculate as he promised to share the news himself after a conclusive diagnosis.

When I read Irrfan Khan’s tweet on Monday, I really, REALLY hoped it was just a promotional stunt for his latest movie – Blackmail.
But unfortunately, it’s real. It’s happening.
On 21st February, 2 weeks before his tweet, Hindustan Times reported that Irrfan Khan had paused all his movie commitments as he was diagnosed with “a severe case of jaundice.”
It’s true that he’s unwell, however, there’s no actual confirmation about the disease yet.
Except there’s a heartbreaking rumor floating around Indian media outlets. Even reliable sources like NewsX are reporting that Irrfan Khan has been diagnosed with a deadly brain cancer Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) Grade IV and he is currently admitted in Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. They further reported that “he had been having convulsion attacks along with slurring of speech due to which he had to admitted into the Hospital immediately.”
