Tbh it’s not the first time firangs have gotten obsessed with something Indian and came up with a fuck all American equivalent name for it. Remember how they called haldi ka doodh “Turmeric Latte: golden milk”?

Well, looks like it’s our beloved Gulab Jamun’s turn this time. Buzzfeed Tasty shared/uploaded a video of Gulab Jamun recipe on Facebook and Youtube recently and called Gulab Jamun “Indian Fried Donuts” and quite obviously, it triggered the desis there partly because the recipe was kinda shit and partly because of the fuck all American equivalent name.
