It awakened a fire in my heart, bringing back those captivating stories of the Agojie that should be shared with every young girl. The unapologetic nature of the film was refreshing, although I couldn’t help but wish for an even fiercer portrayal.
The vibrant colors of purple, orange, blue, and gold beautifully captured the essence of our African culture. Viola Davis was exceptional, as always, and the fight scenes were intense. The blend of horror and fantasy was a nice touch and the King’s charisma was undeniable.
