Nothing in this world hurts more when you don’t know any of the answers to the question paper and you can’t even cheat. It’s the most helpless feeling in the world and I guess all students been there at least once in their lives.
Something similar happened to the students of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University.
According to a report by Times Of India, during the evaluation of 2017-18 final semester exams, professors were shocked to find out that most of the answer sheets were filled with religious songs, bhajans, hanuman chalisa and personal remarks.
Some students even tried to bribe the professors.
“In some cases, up to 20 pages of answer sheets have been filled with personal remarks. I have come across film scripts, poetry, requests to award pass marks and in some cases students have even attached currency notes,” a senior teacher of history told TOI.
A student even wrote, “my girlfriend believes that I am good in studies. Please award me at least the passing marks or she will leave me.”
But professors believe this is a result of their recent decision to tighten their security measures to prevent cheating. “The office of the vice chancellor along with a team of senior teachers is monitoring the evaluation process. Students seem to think that they will pass by writing these silly things instead of the answers to questions asked,” said PR officer of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University.
Well, this meme pretty much sums up the current situation of students of the university.
