Ranveer Singh Trolled For Comparing His ‘Khilji’ To Heath Ledger’s Joker

While Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ is still drowning in a sea of never ending controversies, movie’s lead actor Ranveer Singh is still trying to keep the movie hyped up on social media.

Earlier this morning, Ranveer Singh took it to Twitter to share a photoshopped image of his Alauddin Khilji character with two of the biggest villains of Hollywood, Alex DeLarge from The Clockwork Orange and Joker from The Dark Knight. In which, three of the faces merged as one to make a single face.

But it’s not the first time Ranveer Singh has compared his character to Heath Ledger’s Joker. In an interview with Filmare Magazine earlier this year, he said: “I am on the threshold of entering completely uncharted territory. I’m scared of stepping into that rabbit hole. I fear if I go in, I may not come back. Like Heath Ledger. He didn’t come back. He went so far into the rabbit hole that it took away everything from him. I can say I’m living life on the edge.”

But it obviously didn’t down well for Vivek Oberoi when he compared his role in Krrish 3 to Heath Ledger’s The Joker, and it didn’t go down too well for Ranveer Singh either. People got offended by it and Ranveer got savagely trolled for comparing his role to the greatest villains of all time.
