I am Jack’s another attempt at writing this post.
Scroll down only if you’re fine with breaking the first two rules of Fight Club.
Fight Club literally starts with this warning message. So why shouldn’t the article?
Fight Club is undoubtedly one of the greatest movies of our generation. It’s very much like a bottle of champagne; not only the movie is ageless, but it also makes more sense with time. Fight Club is a movie adaptation of a book written by Chuck Palahniuk, turned it into the greatest visual experience by David Fincher. The screenplay, the score, the acting, and the attention to detail, everything’s perfect about this movie.
If you’re here reading this article, you’ve probably watched it, so let’s get to the quotes.
Here some of the most powerful quotes from Fight Club:
“It’s only after we have lost everything that we are free to anything.”
“The things you own, end up owning you.”
“If you feel like shit, everyone you hate wins.”
“If you wanna make an omelette, you got to break some eggs.”
“You met me at a very strange time in my life.”
“You are not a beautiful and unique snowflake.”
“This is your life and it is ending one minute at a time.”

“Marla’s philosophy of life was that she might die at any moment. The tragedy, she said, was that she didn’t.”
“Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don’t need. We’re the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no great war. No great depression. Our great war is a spiritual war. Our great depression is our lives.”
“You’re not your job. You’re not how much money you have in the bank. You aren’t the car you drive. You’re not the contents of your wallet. You are not your fucking khakis. You’re the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world.”
“Every evening I died. Every evening I was born again.”
“Stop trying to control everything and let go. LET GO!”
“The lower you fall, the higher you will fly.”
“I let go. Lost in oblivion. Dark and silent and complete. I found freedom. Losing all hope was freedom.”
Alright, folks, I’m gonna go and have a little fight club session now.
